Epson Receipt Printer Not Working

(Model TM-m30)

 

1. Check that Printer is powered on (Blue light will display on top of the Printer)

2. Verify that a network cable is plugged into the printer

3. In the LaVu POS app, from the "Quick Serve" menu, tap the ☰ button on the bottom left of the screen.

4. Select "Settings"

5. Select "Printers and Displays"

6. Find the IP Address in the list that matches the IP Address label on your printer. (If it does not have a label, power on the printer while holding the power and feed button simultaneously until it prints a slip. This slip will show the IP Address)

7. Remember the name of the printer in the listing

8. Cancel and go back to "Quick Serve menu"

9. Tap the ☰ button once more

10. Select "Functions"

11. Select "Register Functions"

12. Select "Select Register"

12. Select the listing that matches the name of the printer from step 7.

13. If you choose, you can verify operation of the printer by using a Manager pin to open the drawer using the icon at the top of the "Quick Serve" menu.

(If register now prints to more than one receipt printer, during step 11, select clear register, and then proceed to step 12.)
