Send email from a different email address in Outlook for Desktop (Application)

In the compose window, or after clicking reply, click the options tab and click "Show From"
- Select the address you would like to send as:

In the compose window, select
> Show From to see the From line.

Select From and choose which email address you want to use.

If you don't see all your accounts or aliases, select Other email address... and start typing the email address or name you want to send from.
Notes:

You may not have permission to send from all the addresses you see in the list.

Any sent emails will appear in your Sent Items folder regardless of the address sent from.

Open the Outlook mobile app and click on compose email. (You can also do this during a reply by
clicking reply or reply all and then the maximize ⤡ icon that shows next to the input field while typing)
The From field shows a dropdown icon next to the primary SMTP address, which you can click on.
Select the alias address that you want to send from.
Verify that the alias address appears at the top. Next, send the email.
In our example, the alias address is john@exoip.com.
